They will never coexist, they will eventually take over, if you let them.  America was found on the premise of a melting pot, as long as you came in and assimulateted, you were fine.

Islamic Sharia Law Comes to Great Britain

LONDON -- Stoning for adultery. Amputations for theft. Death for apostates. And second-class status for Christians and Jews. This is life under Sharia law, the Islamic system practiced in countries like Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Great Britain.

Yes, Great Britain.
There are reportedly some 85 Sharia courts now operating there, with Islamic judges ruling on cases ranging from financial to marital disputes among British Muslims.
"We went into some proceedings and there were a couple of Islamic judges sitting up above the rest," said Alan Craig, who recently stepped down as leader of the Christian Peoples Alliance party. "And there was one Muslim woman who was suing for divorce."
Craig is a former city councilor in East London, home to several Sharia courts where women face open discrimination.
"A woman's witness value is half that of a man," Craig told CBN News. "So [the courts] will tend, therefore, to take the man's position in a divorce."
Craig is working with Baroness Caroline Cox to pass a bill in Britain's House of Lords protecting women from this Sharia oppression.

Muslim women in Great Britain often face intimidation within their communities to settle things the Sharia way. According to Craig, some wrongly believe Islamic courts are their only option.
"What we're trying to do is say, Muslim women, especially in this country, need to be informed," he explained. "They actually have other rights and our view, better rights, under English law."
Sharia courts operate outside of British common law. Their defenders say the courts are legal under a 1996 Arbitration Act that allows people to settle differences through methods of their own choosing.
Islamic Republic of Tower Hamlets
The courts have popped up in several British cities with large Muslim populations, including Birmingham, Bradford, Manchester, and London.
The Tower Hamlets section of East London is arguably the epicenter of the Sharia movement in Great Britain.
The impoverished borough has been dubbed "The Islamic Republic of Tower Hamlets."
Its first elected mayor is a Muslim who critics say has ties to extremist groups. His office declined CBN News's request for an interview.
Radical Muslims have threatened women there for not covering up, and gays have been beaten in the streets.
"If people are afraid of having their hands cut, don't steal," UK Islamist leader Anjem Choduary said. "If you don't want to be stoned to death, don't commit adultery."
Choudary wants Sharia law to rule Great Britain.
Last year, his followers put up posters around Tower Hamlets labeling it a "Sharia-Controlled Zone" where "Islamic rules are enforced."
"We're sitting in a beautiful park here in East London," CBN News' Eric Stakelbeck observed during an interview with Choudary. "How would this park look different if Sharia came to the UK and your vision came to the UK?"
"Certainly, the adult women, whether Muslim or non-Muslim, would have to cover themselves, as indeed would the men," he responded.
Craig fears the growth of Sharia law in areas like East London could lead to Muslim enclaves isolated from mainstream British society.
"My feeling around here is that those that don't, those that isolate themselves, those that separate themselves is growing faster than those who (are) what we would call progressive," he said.
"A big marker for that route would be the number of women, the growth of the number of women around here wearing the full face veil, the burka," he continued. "And it's extraordinary how much younger and younger they get."
Sharia in America?
So could Sharia courts come to America? The idea sounds far-fetched to some.
According to the Center for Security Policy in Washington, there have been some 50 court cases in at least 23 states that have seen conflicts between Sharia law and American state law.
And four states have adopted legislation, called "American Laws for American Courts," that would protect U.S. citizens from the use of any type of foreign law, like Sharia, in the courtroom.
In East London, Craig said the fight against Sharia is much more than a religious or legal issue.
"It's actually a human rights thing," he said. "And we're working in partnership with non-Christians as well on this trying to bolster and strengthen the position for Muslim women."

YOU ARE BEING WATCHED
(Friday Church News Notes, November 30, 2012, www.wayoflife.org fbns@wayoflife.org, 866-295-4143) -

Government surveillance has increased so dramatically in the last decade as to be breathtaking, and there can be no doubt that it is a sign of the times (Revelation 13:17). It’s almost impossible to move around and communicate in modern society without being observed by the government. It is impossible to use a credit card, bank machine, phone card, mobile phone, travel internationally, etc., without creating an electronic trail. U.S. agencies such as the Information Awareness Office, NSA, and the FBI spend billions of dollars annually to intercept and analyze telephone and internet traffic. Since 2007 federal, state, and local government agencies are allowed to access imagery from military intelligence satellites to observe the activities of U.S. citizens (“U.S. to Expand Domestic Use of Spy Satellites,” Wall Street Journal, Aug. 15, 2007).

The FBI is creating a billion dollar underground computer facility to store DNA, facial recognition data, iris/retina data, fingerprints, and palm prints of people living in the U.S. (“FBI Prepares Vast Database of Biometrics,” Washington Post, Dec. 22, 2007). The Department of Homeland Security awards billions of dollars in grants to assist local, state, and federal agencies to install and operate video surveillance equipment. An example is Chicago’s Operation Virtual Shield which connects over 2,200 cameras to a centralized monitoring center (“Surveillance Cams Help Fight Crime,” Chicago Sun Times, Feb. 19, 2009). The city plans to have a surveillance camera on every street corner by 2016 (“We’re Watching,” CBS News, Sept. 6, 2006).

London, England, operates an estimated 500,000 surveillance cameras. Some U.S. school districts, such as those in San Antonio, Texas, are requiring students to wear radio tags that allow the institutions to track their movements (“US School Tag Tracker Project,” BBC, Nov. 23, 2012). There is increasing surveillance from the air by drones. The U.S. and the U.K. are working on plans to build fleets of surveillance drones for use by police and government agencies.

DARPA has funded the development of teams of drones that “pilot themselves, automatically decide who is suspicious and how to go about monitoring them, coordinate their activities with other drones nearby, and notify human operators if something suspicious is occurring ... a swarm of automated, self-directing drones can automatically patrol a city and track suspicious individuals, reporting back to a centralized monitoring station” (“Surveillance,” Wikipedia). In Project Golden Shield, China is installing millions of surveillance cameras with advanced analytics and facial recognition software, all connected to a centralized database and monitoring station. The plan is to computerize and store a digital photo of the face of every one of the 1.3 billion people in China (“China’s All-seeing Eye,” Rolling Stone, May 29, 2008). U.S. corporations such as IBM, General Electric, and Honeywell are assisting in this Orwellian project. Businesses, too, are in the surveillance game.

They are linking surveillance cameras to sophisticated software that allows them not only to spot shopkeepers but also to profile customers and observe their movements and reactions to such things as sales displays and general shopping situations. Now, companies are purchasing mannequins equipped with cameras in their eyes that glean data on customers at eye level (“Bionic Mannequins Spy on Shoppers,” Bloomberg, Nov. 22, 2012). Retailers in Europe and the U.S. are using these secret surveillance devices to observe the age, gender, and race of passers-by, and the company that makes the mannequins is testing technology to allow retailers to eavesdrop on what customers are saying.

  1. Religious war is coming. Islam will force it, as it intends to be the one religion practiced on this earth. Unless some other disaster occurs that limits the spread of the pseudo religion/government system/social system, those being threatened with oppression from it will begin to fight back in order to save their very lives, in addition to their beliefs.

    Just my opinion.

As to the monitoring of the American people, it is being done at the whim of the political elite, to insure they continue to be the political elite. It isn't for our own good, or the good of the children, as so often stated. It is for their good, and their good only.

    Also just my opinion.
